So I have been asked to take part in three weddings next year. One’s in April, the second is in June and the third is in August. I’m really excited about the august wedding as it’s my sister’s nuptials and I have been looking forward to this day for a very long time.
It may sound like I’m the elder sister but, I’m not. As the middle child I’ve always rebelled and did things my way. I really did not expect to be the first to tie the knot (did not really see myself as the marrying kind) but, I did and to be honest I can’t really say I have any regrets other than not having that mega wedding I’ve always dreamed of. I’m so pleased for her and she is marrying a lovely man. As a gift to my darling sister, I’ve opted to make all her favours which would be my moisturizing candles, soaps, bath salts, bath teabags and handmade bags (a nice little gift pack). She was delighted to hear the news and have already picked out a few scents and colour ideas.
For the other weddings, I was so excited for my sister I told them exactly what I was going to do for her. Little did I know they cottoned on and wanted the same thing. Instead of having to purchase the favours from me they included me in their bridal party. Not what I was expecting or even wanted. I tried to get out of it but, got the sad looking eyes and pout, so I gave in. All in all I do love weddings; I especially love it when my beautiful products are given as gifts/favours to be enjoyed by friends and family.
